Braid Permutations FAQ: Assignments, Modes and Wallet

This page explains the independent Braid Permutations browser simulator. Its complete-assignment mathematics establishes no external operator, app, commercial account or payment service.

Scope of this independent guide

552x.info is an independent query-information guide with its own Braid Permutations browser simulator. A matching query or domain establishes no commercial operator, official app, licence, game catalogue, payment channel or external account service.

The simulator has original assignment-board rules and free virtual coins. Its results do not test a separate platform or authenticate a commercial offer. This guide offers no deposits, withdrawals, cash prizes or external account recovery.

Sixteen fair cells and complete column assignments

One spin draws sixteen independent fair occupied-or-empty cells arranged in one4-by-4 board. The raw score counts complete assignments: choose one occupied cell in every row and every column, with each of the four columns chosen exactly once.

Equivalently, test all 24 permutations of the four columns and count those whose four selected cells are occupied. The computer counts all qualifying assignments; you do not select one winning assignment by skill. A board with no complete assignment scores zero. One captured whole stake covers the entire board, with no separately paid rows.

Check the matrix permanent

A board occupied only on its main diagonal has one complete assignment and scores one. An all-occupied board permits all 24 column permutations and scores 24. An all-empty row prevents every complete assignment and scores zero.

The score is the permanent of the binary occupancy matrix, with no alternating signs. It is not a determinant, a count of occupied cells or the number of individual matching pairs. Several occupied cells in a row do not independently pay: they matter only as parts of complete four-row assignments with distinct columns.

Exact 65,536-board means and whole-stake credit

Sixteen independent fair cells give 65,536 equally likely binary boards. Choose Low, Medium or High before a spin. Positive raw scores receive square-root, identity or square weighting respectively; zero remains zero. A score 24 has weight square root of 24,24 or576. These are weights, not final multipliers.

For each mode calculate its exact mean weight over all 65,536 boards, including zero scores. Gross credit is the captured whole stake times0.96 times observed weight divided by that mean. Each mode therefore has 96% exact expected gross virtual return. There is one whole-board return, without equal row-stake shares.

The stake was deducted before settlement; gross credit is not net profit. Modes change positive payout sizes after separate normalisation but leave positive-score frequency unchanged. High does not make scoring boards less frequent. The 96% expectation guarantees neither a session balance nor a 96% win probability.

Captured rounds and the persisted wallet

A new browser wallet starts with 1,000 free virtual coins. Settled balance and fractional-credit carry persist in localStorage. Reload does not replenish settled funds. Fractional returns accumulate before whole coins are credited rather than being discarded each spin.

One total stake and mode are captured for the whole board. Settings and refill lock during settlement and an active automatic queue. Auto runs at most ten rounds; Stop prevents future rounds while an already active spin settles. Optional free refill is available only while idle with balance below ten. It sets balance to 1,000 and preserves fractional carry. Coins cannot be bought, transferred, redeemed or withdrawn.

Local storage and third-party requests

Browser localStorage keeps the settled virtual balance and fractional-credit carry. Pages request Google Fonts and a Statinside analytics script. Hosting, CDN and third-party requests may expose IP address, browser, device, path and request details. No anonymity, particular retention period, cookie lifetime or complete processing profile is established.

This guide has no registration or identity-document form. That does not mean browsing produces no personal data or that records cannot be linked to someone. Cache clearing alone may leave localStorage intact. Removing site data can erase the wallet without deleting requests or records already held elsewhere. Free refill changes local game state; it is not a data-deletion tool.

Evidence limits for external claims

No outside business, official domain, commercial testing result, licence or safety certification is authenticated by this guide. A name, search result, logo or attractive interface cannot establish affiliation. HTTPS encrypts transport to the selected host without certifying its business.

Braid Permutations calculations concern only this simulator. Playing it cannot test an external platform, commercial game, file or transaction. No external payment limits, fees, regulator listing, self-exclusion tool or local availability is established here. This guide supplies no commercial safety verdict or invitation to make a small test deposit.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an authenticated 552x operator website?

No. This independent guide supplies its own simulator and authenticates no external business or affiliation.

How is the board generated?

All sixteen cells are independently occupied or empty with equal probability, giving 65,536 equally likely boards.

What does the raw score count?

Complete assignments selecting one occupied cell in every row and every column, with no repeated column.

Do I choose an assignment manually?

No. The computer counts all qualifying permutations. Player selection does not determine the board score.

What is the score of a diagonal-only board?

One. Its four diagonal cells allow exactly one complete assignment.

What is the score of an all-occupied board?

24, the number of permutations of four distinct columns.

What happens if an entire row is empty?

No complete assignment exists, so the raw score and return are zero.

Are the four rows separately paid?

No. One whole captured stake covers the complete board and its single gross return.

Does High make positive scores less frequent?

No. The same fair-cell distribution and assignment rule apply. Modes change positive credits after separate normalisation.

Does 96% guarantee a win probability or final balance?

No. It is exact expected gross virtual return per stake in this simulator model.

When can the wallet be refilled?

Only while idle with balance below ten. Refill sets balance to 1,000 and preserves fractional-credit carry.

What does Stop do during automatic play?

It prevents future rounds while an already active round settles under its captured settings.
